Basically, though, Captain Atom is a beast as he's displayed chronal manipulation, vast energy manipulation, the ability to go sub-atomic, displayed near Flash level speed, etc. He's already far more impressive than Captain Atom prior to the reboot, who, outside of his Monarch phase, was treated like a flying mid herald brick who could shoot and absorb energy.
