Naah, the last time Hulk and Banner split, Hulk was weakened to the point that he almost died from a telephone pole being stabbed in his body. When he lose connection with banner, his powers drop (which was shown on panel). Doesn't matter since I don't see anything wrong with guy scans.

Happened during the Onslaught saga and yes, writer usually portray things the same. Again, I don't see anything wrong with the Doom and Hulk confrontation. Hulk is in pain and Doom whipped that a** with his most powerful weapon...his mouth.

Doom teleported...hulk didn't turn and punch a wall. Hulk was too slow to hit him. Look at the scan again

I hope carter realizes that the artist/writer was trying to convey they thoughts going through his mind at the moment of explosion...much like time seems to slow down when shit happens in real life...like how 1,000 thoughts seemed to go through my head a couple weeks ago when I nose dived off a Rail in Stowe.....
