its not just grain thing but the face that just by shouting or showing him shapes they could hyjack his power cause apparently Flint is too stupid to hold a shape to smash them let alone just pour himself into their crevices. 🙄

They hijacked the exact frequency and sended signals the way the "main grain" does and after locating the main grain Spider-man isolated and shut it's connection off with lead lined webbing. Shit like this happens non stop in comics, see technopathy, telepathy. Iron Man tried something similar on Carnage but he failed.

I hope you plan to see the Avengers, according to my boy, Hulk is not only the strongest but basically the most powerful of the team, including Thor, who gets turned into the equivalent of Wonder Woman (Or heaven forbid, Aquaman) of the team. It was a fun a one shot, some parts didn't make much sense though, but I give up on Asgard based origins having any kind of continuity at this point. Especially with it being straight up mentioned that Gods don't have histories but stories, which can be changed or whatever.

Like Parm said, they specifically prepped to F him up. Again, doesn't matter WHAT he did. Sandman is a pretty basic character. I see what you're implying - "Spider-man was Saved by a plot device" but this is clearly not the case here. If it wasn't the grain then it would've been something else, key word - it HAD to be SOMETHING because there is no way in hell Spider-man is losing with prep against someone like Sandman. THAT would be PIS.

a Tony Stark Satellite shooting microwave beams in the area to disrupt his thought processes would have bn preferable and would have reeked less of PIS.

Tony was unconcious when it happened but point taken. Could've been a heat based attack, or something that Fs up Sandman's molecular structure etc. Pete comes up with stuff like that on the fly these days.

I don't know what you're bitching about but it makes a lot more sense than Wolverine sneaking into the Baxter Building, while being unable to get through a ****ing ordinary metal detector at the airport (Secret Wars and IIRC Sex & Violence). Stealth, prep and "power craving" feats are based on PIS in the first place noone's taking it away from Wolverine/Batman or Reed Richards/Brainiac or Lex Luthor/Norman Osborn, get used to it that Spider-man does the shit he does.

It's been Proven time and time again, spidey WILL find a way to beat the villains he preps for. He does this on the fly all the time. If some stark satellite glassed sandman it would have taken the shine away from Parker. One way or another, he's more than capable of handling his own villains. Honestly I've seen far stupider ways of villains being taken out at least this one offered an explanation to sandman's makeup that was previously unknown.
