I agree that Spiderman should not be touched by guys like Molten Man, now.
He is too skilled, experienced to be touched by guys like him. I am just saying his hand should be burned to the bone when he is smeared by the molten metal "if" he is shown being grabbed or covered by it.
I think the web gloves should provide him some protection from him for a few seconds when punching him... and Spidey can and should beat him in a city setting as many of his fights are geared toward.
