That's basically....just the warm-up.

Later in the same arc, he gets trapped in an unescapable maze for more than a week, without water, food, drugged out of his mind and psychologically tortured. At the end, Talon - the same guy in the scene you just quoted, who is a highly skilled superhuman assassin, comes in from behind, stabs him straight through the gut, then beats him through walls and the like as he's bleeding in and out.

Batman summons the will and gets up in that condition, destroying him in hand to hand, as he's hallucinating mid-fight due to the drugs/exhaustion etc. and shows off his intelligence by escaping the maze.

All of that is happening after multiple injuries sustained before, not the least of which are the multiple stabbings above, multiple free fallings off of skyscrappers one of which involved him stopping himself with his bare hands while near terminal velocity, explosions, even Alfred trying to sedate him to slow the f*ck down and Bruce just shrugging it off and plowing through.

After all this damage? He finally arrives to the Wayne manor, gets bandaged, and then another gang of Talons attacks him. What does he do? He fights them off in his bedroom clothes.

When I say that Punisher is like a little kid who is crying from being kitty scratched when compared to Batman, that's not an exageration.

Thanos is probably going to kick Hulk's ass given that he seems to just charge in mindless.

That issue had some horrible dialogue for Thor and Green Scar. Just painful.

Also, Hulk f*cked that guys shit up. The Zodiac seem to be powerful but have glass jaws.

What is up with Hulk's dialogue Green Scar has never been dumb like that he sounds like Savage Hulk.

To be fair they stood up to the rest of the Avenger's pretty well and it seemed as though they were thought to be near-invulnerable until Hulk took one out. At least going by Thor's dialogue and Tony's in the last issue.

Yea, Bendis is being worse than usual here. Thor doesn't even make sense at some points. The beasts of Valhalla? Bendis just threw those words together at random.

IIRC, Tony hurt the lot of them and Thor was kicking the ass of two of them. But Hulk not beating them was what stood out, it's shield taking out the lot of them with weapons.

Bendis Thor has changed though. He's not as unrelenting as he use to be like Fraction's Thor and more in line with his classic self here. The dialogue aside, it's refreshing, not a fan of Thor going after enemies as brutally as the Hulk.

Hate some of the dialogue. If Thanos starts monologuing, it'll be the worst under Bendis.

I want Thor to beat the shit out of that Taurus fagg*t now that the worf effect isn't in play. Him getting electrocuted was just insulting.

^ Yeah, Tony KO'd savage Hulk decades ago, back when he was sporting his Mk. I armor (the armor he's wearing in Rage's scans, in fact.) There's also their melees when Tony donned the Hulk Buster, etc.

Yea, Tony's had some moments, but it doesn't happen often and I definitely didn't expect him to do this well in the current climate.

So who wants to guess what the stand out low showing for Thanos next issue will be? Being hurt by Black Widow, an arrow from Hawk eye? Maybe Hulk beating the shit out of him?
