In the Ghost Rider tie in to World War Hulk, he was about to kill Hulk's ass but then decided not to because "The Spirit of Vengeance only punishes the guilty" and Hulk wasn't or something.

Lol...Ghost Rider didn't do anything to WWH. Show me those scans.
He's talking about how the actual Rider was considering killing Hulk but decided against it. Hulk only fought Blaze acting alone not the spirit fighting nor even helping just mocking him. The Ghost Rider during the actual arc the tie in took place in would have beat the shit out of Hulk but he even stated in the issue that he had no reason to fight hulk and that he wouldn't help at all. There wouldn't have been a single think Hulk could do to him.

You really don't know if any of this was or would have been true since the fight ended in a stalemate.

Umm if you read the Ghost Rider series which that fight was in an issue of then you would know that. Ghost Rider flat out stated he wouldn't fight Hulk because he had no reason to, So Blaze did alone and didn't know what he was doing (as was stated on panel). The actual Ghost Rider in that arc literally couldn't have lost to Hulk because physical damage did nothing to him. And it pretty much stated that he would have killed Hulk but he once again saw it pointless. Read the issues around that one.

I did read that issue and posted it numerous of times. After Hulk blitzed GR knocking him out (waking up his dark persona), his darker side appeared and hit him with a small nuke like hell fire blast "in which Hulk tanked". If we are going by dialog, then yes, Hulk probably would have lost but nothing shown on panel dictates that.

Umm clearly you didn't post the issues around it since you only read the hulk parts, that nuke like blast was just him getting up. It was shown on panel that Hulk could do nothing to him, and that Ghost Rider didn't even use a fraction of his power. Once again read the actual issues that take place both before and after the Hulk one not only to get a better grasp of the character at the time, but also because they were really good. The fight actually took place within the Ghost rider solo book, within an arc where physical damage had no effect on him what's so ever which Means that Hulk couldn't harm him. During that arc he was letting the spirit do the fighting and Blaze would always mess up which is the nerfed version that Hulk fought.
