Umm clearly you didn't post the issues around it since you only read the hulk parts, that nuke like blast was just him getting up. It was shown on panel that Hulk could do nothing to him, and that Ghost Rider didn't even use a fraction of his power. Once again read the actual issues that take place both before and after the Hulk one not only to get a better grasp of the character at the time, but also because they were really good. The fight actually took place within the Ghost rider solo book, within an arc where physical damage had no effect on him what's so ever which Means that Hulk couldn't harm him. During that arc he was letting the spirit do the fighting and Blaze would always mess up which is the nerfed version that Hulk fought.
the claims are that ghost rider almost defeated/killed hulk in that tie-in, but all that happened was he made a statement about not bringing hulk to justice cause he was in the right. now, carver doesn't know just how powerful GR was around that time, but then again that's not his responsibility in this case as the onus is not on him.

My point is more that Hulk wouldn't have been able to do anything to the Ghost Rider of that arc and that the Rider considered killing him. Carver said there was no proof of either of those so I was explaining my reasoning. I fully admitted that Hulk beat the Blaze version just fine
