Because in the same book, Drax isn't his normal self along with other heros as well. That's Savage Hulk and continuity is screwed up in Avengers Assemble.

Oh Carter, you're silly. Everyone knows that if Living Tribunal fused together a Death-Wolverine/Worldbreaker Hulk hybrid, Superman would still stomp 'em down while holding back, wipe the non-existent sweat off his brow and says, "He just might have been the TOUGHEST opponent I've ever faced" so Wolkie keeps his self-esteem.
And here's how Superman handles gas.
Hulk on the other hand? Not so well.
Worse than Spider-Man, eh?
And people make a big deal over Superman's fight with Venom. Well, Venom never actually KOed Superman or even won the fight. But what happened when Hulkie tussled with the weaker Spider-Man?
