Guys looks like I spoke too soon regarding Wanda and the PF.
MASSIVE SPOILERS to those that haven't read the issue yet -
Spoiler:
Iron Man determines in this issue that her power is connected in some way to the Phoenix Force, which begins to explain the surge of power she got during her pilates routine when the Phoenix force entered those five X-Men.

Got that from another forum.

This still doesn't excuse the Cytorrak garbage though.

Cyttorak was never scared of the serpent. You assumed he was because of fear itself. There was countless demons in the room who could of soloed the serpent, It was just wanking.

I LOVE THE PHEONIX 5!

Sooner it's over the better, though this is going to be Bendis...

Oh man, now Cytorakk sh|tting on the PF?! sigh.........

Cyttorak > PF.

Easily greater than Sorceror Supreme Strange.

Greater than the Ancient One, who battled Eternity.

Greater than Zom and Shuma Gorath as well according to Brevoort.

Spider Woman Owned (he ignored her like the nothing she is) -

Quicksilver Owned -

Sorry if these have already been posted (found them lurking on other forums 😄 ).

This is the only thing I'm liking about AvX, seeing the young gun KG get some big boy feats under his belt this early into his history. Hopefully it only gets better from there.

That's quite possibly the most retarded thing I've ever read on this site, and that's saying something.

Its not retarded - Colossus Big-C, may I ask how old you are?

haermm

Man, now I feel as if I should've skipped these pages to still be able to take Big-C seriously ermm

Personally I'm pretty ok with Cyttorak doing what he did in AvX. I mean for most of his history it's always been implied he is a straight up power house in the cosmic scale especially in his realm. Even Classic Strange never wanted to tangle with him on any level.

Fear Itself doesn't really change that. Cyttorak is and has always been bound to the Crimson Cosmos, so it's probably more along the lines of he couldn't do anything to the Serpent because he just can't unless the Serpent came to him.

So Cyttorak taking down 1/5th the Phoenix Force in his own realm is pretty ok with me.

The only thing I didn't like was the trashing of Cain as a previous Juggernaut. Considering he flat out told Cain he thought Cain was a masterful Juggernaut and he liked having as his avatar.

AvX is a lot of wasted potential imo. I see what they were trying to do but the execution has been lacking.

Still fun to follow at times though.

I will say one thing about recent portrayals of Cyttorak that have bugged me, this isn't just AvX, is that he only cares about getting his name spread via destruction when it used to be he only cared about getting more followers and he didn't care how. His primary way of doing it was through fear and destruction but he didn't mind if you did it the other way either.

From what I have found from recent interview given by Jeff Parker on CBR , I believe its Ixchel (although the interview seems to make it sound like these are not true gods , merely an advanced race of post-humans , and what they are doing is some sort of super-advanced science , not magic) :

since u found her name, I am sure you looked her up yourself.

all I can say is she is multifaceted with various roles and aspects to herself.

Ixchel is an aspect of the earth and was called Grandmother, she is also an aspect of the moon and one of its phases, She is a midwife goddess and the maker of children. She is a Medicine Goddess, a Rain Goddess and Finally, she is also a War Goddess.

to me she seems to be a mother/wife figure who don't take sh** and is very protective .

So far I see her being written far differently from how she was originally viewed and worshiped by the Mayan Women as their Patron.

I have no problem with her current depiction so long as we see the Virgin Mary in the near future fighting the Avengers to usher in the New Kingdom of God on earth with the 12 disciples by her side. 😆

She's also a jaguar goddess(which is what that jaguar bikini could possibly be in reference to) , and the Hulk#53 incarnation portrays her in the "Moon Goddess" aspect of hers(or at least that's what's mentioned in the interview with Parker) .

Also from Jeff Parker's commentary , its hinted that she(along with the rest of her brethren) is possibly not even a real Mayan deity , but merely a member of an advanced race of post-humans with a Clarke'sThirdLaw-esque sort of science/technology .
