Deadpool is doing that because now he knows that everything is fake, he used to suspect but now that he knows they're all puppets he wants to destroy it all. That's why he says he's the only sane person in the world. X saw the truth in his mind and apparently couldn't take it.

cyclops is immune to his optic blasts, even his eyelids are sufficient enough to completely hold back (that is all his power really is) the entire, continuous blast he can dish out

The first instance was with Shao Lao's dragon fire . The second was a combination of Wanda's power + Shao Lao's power + Hope's own Phoenix fragment .
I doubt she used Cyclops' own optic blasts against him in any of the above mentioned instances .

It's not much different than the Avengers issue where Moondragon did tryouts for a new Avengers lineup (#211). First she summoned a whole bunch of Avengers and a few others like Moon Knight and some X-Men. Then she made it so none of them noticed she was there. Later when they tried to rush her, she was able to instantly paralyze the entire assemblage including Thor, Hercules, Iron Man, Vision, Cap, Black Panther etc. with just "a simple psi-bolt". Thor just stood there frozen while Moondragon auditioned Dazzler for a spot on the team.
Then of course the Ba-Bani incident where Moondragon controlled Thor several times, while using what she said was only a small reserve of her remaining power.

Naah, that's not why. I always considered Charles one of the most powerful telepaths in comics. He need fts like this to prove that claim. Now the only thing that is missing is him mind raping Galactus with just a thought. That would seal the deal imo.
