Or dead. I'm betting on dead. Hulk will find a way to revive him by slapping him, or yelling at him though.

Avengers Assemble has got to be the most disappointing ongoing title I've read in a long time. I could give a shit about power levels, but this book manages to single handily shit on continuity, butcher dialogue and characterization, and shamelessly attempt to drag in fans by using the movie incarnation of the Avengers.

It's bad, even by Bendis standards.

What makes it worse to me is that Bendis can write very well when he wants to. There are multiple stories by him that I enjoy and still read even now. Just compare this to how he wrote Avengers Prime.....

He doesn't have to produce this craptastic piece of nonsense so why does he?

Avengers Assemble makes no bones about trying to draw in fans of the movie, which is probably why Bendis is just throwing shit at a wall to see what sticks. And yeah, he has written good Avengers stories, which makes this all the more baffling and frustrating.

credit goes to the guy that made it.

1) He's wearing too many hats and working on too many separate projects. The quality is bound to suffer

2) It's a cosmic story so he's prolly just trying to spread his wings a little bit. Getting ready for his Gotg run.

Superman is now, officially I'd say far, far more powerful than before.

If there's a comic book that'd ever get me to masturbate, it would be this one.

😐

Thandis. facepalm

Anyway terrible story and horrendous disregard for continuity.

2/10

I mean, I guess it's impressive that Thanos required all the Avengers/F4/GoTG ganging up on him just to give him a bloody nose/lip and even then he was still conscious. Still, this story...ugh.

*awaits new Thanos threads or old ones to be bumped*

Lets just make superman crazy ****ing strong even though everything we shown to this point makes him no where close to that....

Either he starts getting uber showings for no reason which I have no problem with or they do something stupid like him struggling with some bullshit lift later or getting hurt by something menial..

That showing, while definitely impressive, will likely have no bearing on his fights with other characters anytime soon.

supes 😛

'Impressive' is underselling.

This showing is flat-out crazy. Silver Age crazy.

Does it mean that Superman will now hit, everytime, with fists that can juggle Earth? No. But we get a grasp on how DC sees him now compared to pre-Flashpoint and for ****'s sake, this is ridiculously awesome.
