Avengers Assemble has got to be the most disappointing ongoing title I've read in a long time. I could give a shit about power levels, but this book manages to single handily shit on continuity, butcher dialogue and characterization, and shamelessly attempt to drag in fans by using the movie incarnation of the Avengers.
It's bad, even by Bendis standards.

What makes it worse to me is that Bendis can write very well when he wants to. There are multiple stories by him that I enjoy and still read even now. Just compare this to how he wrote Avengers Prime.....He doesn't have to produce this craptastic piece of nonsense so why does he?
1) He's wearing too many hats and working on too many separate projects. The quality is bound to suffer
2) It's a cosmic story so he's prolly just trying to spread his wings a little bit. Getting ready for his Gotg run.
[b]I'll post this here too because..

Superman is now, officially I'd say far, far more powerful than before.
If there's a comic book that'd ever get me to masturbate, it would be this one.

Lets just make superman crazy ****ing strong even though everything we shown to this point makes him no where close to that....
Either he starts getting uber showings for no reason which I have no problem with or they do something stupid like him struggling with some bullshit lift later or getting hurt by something menial..
