'Impressive' is underselling.

This showing is flat-out crazy. Silver Age crazy.

Does it mean that Superman will now hit, everytime, with fists that can juggle Earth? No. But we get a grasp on how DC sees him now compared to pre-Flashpoint and for ****'s sake, this is ridiculously awesome.

Incredible feat to be sure.

Incredible Thanos scans! It took the Elders of the Universe to take him out!

That showing, while definitely impressive, will likely have no bearing on his fights with other characters anytime soon.

The important thing to know is he's superior to Thor and you accept it 131

I feel kind of guilty of attacking Thor because he has had so many shitty showings its just too easy 🙁

Lord Rand's punch to the face and Clint's arrows hurt him the most.

I'm not taking anything away from Superman.

Most of Thor's shitty showings are in the form of Phoenix amped avatars, the Hulk, and outright PIS (Badoon fodder). I can live with that, especially when all one has to do is look at Fraction's take on Thor and see how over the top (and bipolar) the guy is.

You get one-shotted effortlessy in your uber powerful demon form by a teenage girl with a smile on her face, then you threaten to kill that same teenage hell lord w/o your Cyttorak upgrade. Hmm...

"Shut up Champion you're embarrassing us!" LOL

Holy flying f*ck

Superman is now, officially I'd say far, far more powerful than before.

If there's a comic book that'd ever get me to masturbate, it would be this one.

😐

Da f*ck?

That would be crazy impressive for pre-flashpoint Superman. And everything I've seen indicates that this incarnation is a step below, not to mention he's still young. Talk about coming out of nowhere. Still, ridiculously impressive.

He bench-pressed the Earth for 5 days, and only broke a single drop of sweat. Because he was out of the Sun for 5 days. 😐

I know. This is like "what if Phil would write Superman?"

"hahaha, he'd be bench-pressing Earth for days and be like "is that it?"

I still can't believe this is in print, to be honest. F*cking awesome.

😂

At least you're honest about it.

A part of me does hope that is the "standard" for DCnU Kal if only because I'm tired of writers pussy footing around writing extremely powerful characters. It can be done.

Hahaha, I know right? Like what the f*ck? It reads like it came straight out of diary or some shit.

Gratz for the ridiculous feat. Really came out of left field, especially since I'm pretty sure Scott had Hellspont concuss Superma with a backhand and the impact didn't look very impressive at all compared to the standards of Pre-Flashpoint. But whatever, if we use this as a frame of reference, Hellspont could probably back hand the Sun out of orbit too.

What was the point of rebooting DC?

This 'strength' testing is due to Superman wanting to push himself after Helspont defeated him.

This was as about out of the left field as Smallville Clark having the strength to push Apokolips (Saturn sized planet) out of orbit in the series finale.

Lets just make superman crazy ****ing strong even though everything we shown to this point makes him no where close to that....

Either he starts getting uber showings for no reason which I have no problem with or they do something stupid like him struggling with some bullshit lift later or getting hurt by something menial..

Who is the red head? Will I see her in Superman when I read it? Awesome feat. A bit out of place for me considering his power level in Action comics, but whatever have yet to read Superman.

Well, I don't remember Smallville Clark ever really struggling with any amount of weight before, correct me if I'm wrong.
