I said I quoted War Machine because I thought initially the scene implied they needed the Elders to take Thanos away before he retaliated. But my post also says I changed my mind, because the elders helping the Avengers take out CC Thanos made more sense.

So how on Earth does that translate to me thinking Thanos would stomp the team?
