I only know of one instance in which DC was referred to as an Omniverse in pre-Flashpoint continuity (Adventures of Superman 617.) However, it has been referenced as such twice already in post-Flashpoint continuity.

I posted one(in which Superman "saves" the omniverse) in the Comic Book Section already. The reason I want them so badly is because I came across another scan on comicvine recently, but I am unable to find it again even after searching repeatedly.

If you have them available, please share.
