They're building it up such that even the slightest dose of competence will make his fans go mad.

"Thor didn't get knocked out this issue! Obviously he can now beat Superman!!"

As such, there will be no need to write him as kind of high powerhouse to make them happy.

I think it's safe to conclude that Thor's weakness is blows to face or head.

Anyone that gets a clear shot takes him down.

I think it's time Captain America gave Thor extended leave to find himself again. He can't cope with modern day threats anymore it seems.

Hulk's going too look good probably because most seem to like him more, Hyperion will probably look good because Hickman likes Eternals, that leaves only Thor to get shit-on.
