Also, I find it kind of funny that a team of a Superman clone and some nobodies is somehow an upgrade to a team with Hulk/Thor/Iron Man.

And good is better than bad.

...But then again, you wouldn't know since you're a Wolverine fan 😈

Mothra sucks.

But liking Kaiju at all makes you a good person.

That must be why Paul Cornell outsells Mark Millar? From a sales perspective, pissing people off moves units.

Wolverine is objectively the greatest character created in the comic medium. Not debatable. 😎

That title belongs to Kang. Pretty sure Bentley will agree with me here.

wtf. WTF.

I don't give a phuck if it was a cheap shot or not. Thor has NEVER, EVER been a punching bag for the Hulk. They've had a rivalry, sometimes scoring wins over the other but this.....what is this? Thor hasn't even laid hands on the idiot since he beat his amped butt into space in Fear Itself. -sigh-

Brevoort loves Thor though.

He loves $$$ too. I'll let you decide which one he prefers.

Maybe he's not reading the books... lol

You say that as if it's a bad thing. 🙂

Just as the Hulk had outgrown Thing years ago, he has now outgrown Thor. It took much longer, but now we have it.

Thor flash ko'ing/bfr'ing Nul Hulk and collapsing afterward was Marvel giving him his one last hoorah before he too was relegated to being a fun, durable punching bag that didn't pose too much of a threat level. Just as Thing and Abomination before him.

You think Thor getting knocked out directly relates to money?

It'd be better if there was some quality control.

No. Just saying that, even if TB disagreed with the direction in which Thor's been going lately, he wouldn't make a fuss as long as his paycheck wasn't directly affected by it. He already said that he's more interested in sales and how pissing off the readers factors into that.

"Et tu, Brevoort?"

Thor getting KO'ed like this doesn't boost sales at all, and evidently doesn't put them down. But that doesn't mean he can't get it toned down on a character he champions online.

He wouldn't make a fuss because he's a dick.

Kang has as much personality and pathos as a block of wood.

Sadly, the movies, especially when they make a shitload of cash, have too much influence on the source material nowadays. Sometimes that can be a good thing if it's done in moderation, but not like this. The films made Thor out to be a clown, bumping into walls and what not and literally getting punched in the face by HULK -- all for comedic effect. So, in my opinion, Thor's image has to be fixed there first -- up on the big screen; then the comics restoration will follow.

Lol, compared to some of the shit we've seen, that's far from a bad showing.

Hulk sucker punches Thor while he's fighting the enemy and the next time we see them, Hulk's knocked the **** out face down on the ground and Thor's captured (Knocked out as well probably).

I'll take them knocking each other out off panel over some of that other shit any day.

The fanboys only care that Thor was tied up, I doubt they even noticed that the Hulk was on the ground ko'd.
