Oh shit, Carver was right. Hulk lifts Mjolnir. It being drawn by Simonson is a spit in the eye after repeated kick to the balls.Spoiler:
I'm betting Hulk has his own Uru hammer forged for him after he gets beaten up by Frost Giants or some shit. By who and how I don't know but he looks like he's sporting "Thor" gear.
(following doesn't seem spoiler worthy):
Looks like standard nu-Hulk gear to me from the last issue. I'm thinking either Hulk is granted permission to wield the hammer or perhaps even Banner figures out some way to negate the enchantment. Waid seems to like Banner's brains more than Hulk's brawn at this point. *shrugs*
While most images so far seem to be covers, promos and rough sketches they seem to be pushing this hammer thing pretty hard for it to just ammount to nothing (despite the fact that 9/10 covers are misleading). But it looks more like Hulk is properly wielding it than overpowering it. *more shrugs* And while i do think Hulk could overcome the enchanment with strength i dont think anyone could practically use it as a tool if the enchantment was in place.
Heres another one that stealthily appeared on Walt's FB page awhile ago. Def seems to be a cover:

If this is an accurate depiction of what eventually transpires in the book then we have officially entered an age where there is nothing sacred in comicdom anymore.
The day someone casually creates an effective technology that not only allows for him to lift mjolnir, but actually wield it in combat is damn near sacrilege. And I'm not even a Thor fan.
Of course as a positive it'll inevitably involve the typical comic science trope of some sort of dynamic gravity field with inertial nullification or some such which means that I can troll Thor fans by arguing that Nova takes mjolnir from him and beats him to death with it 😱

Marvel just destroyed an entire franchise and merged it with the Avengers. They destroyed a cosmic force that was part of it's greatest and most respected story arc "The Dark Phoenix Saga".
Why should an enchantment placed by a skyfather be impossible to break? Especially considering the stupid sh|t that Marvel has shoved down our throats for the passed 8 or so years?
Phuck Thor and Marvel.
