No doubt HULK does have some speed feats but, this one is definitely IM flying away from HULK to those gamma reactors pretty much standing still and then HULK tackles him. He didn't run him down per say.

And as for Honest John, he's apparently displayed planetary levels of telepathy when he influenced everybody around the world who saw his news broadcast. He made every individual see him as their own ideal leader and pushed them to anti-mutant violence. That's a fairly incredible feat and gives you a notion of how powerful his mind powers are... and he didn't even control Thor.
Honest John only opened the door and it was ultimately Red Skull using Xavier's brain to mind-control Thor.
The biggest game changer might be that Xavier came out of nowhere and put Thor to sleep while Emma was engaged in direct combat with Thor, while trying to worm her way into Thor's mind like Rachel.
I don't know whether it's just coincidences or not, but Thor seems to be easier to put down off guard. IIRC, Moondragon with the Mind Gem was able to down and release the Valkyrie spirit easily against Blood and Thunder Thor using telepathy, but once he started attacking her, the telepathy was having no effect.
Besides, Red Skull only started controlling Thor directly after Honest John had him lower his guard with his Odin personification.

I think Thor could resist Emma because he knew exactly what she was trying to do and simply threw her out.
That being said Honeat John has been shown to be a beast but Thor resisted him until the Red Skull joined in.
