I thought it was very enjoyable, personally. You just have to keep in mind that it's a SPOOF comic... It shouldn't be read in a serious tone.

Anyway, you should also check out Deadpool Killustrated. It's a 4 issue spinoff from Deadpool Kills the MU in which DP, after killing his universe, is on a new mission to kill fiction itself-- and he starts by killing some of the more prominent fictional characters in existence(ie. Moby Dick, Sherlock Holmes, Scrooge, Tom Sawyer, etc.) It is literary perfection.
