He got flung by Captain Marvel. If it were solely up to hulk he'd still be in space.

Btw - Carol killed WWH Skrull that way, by tossing him into space.

Sooo, the Starbrand is merely planetary in power and not close to universal? Kinda like Odin. :-p

I thought the starbrand was powerful.

It is, or rather was, stupidly powerful. According to Gruenwald : "A potential peer to the Abstracts" and this was when it was wielded by Erishkigal and she only had it for a few hours at most! Look into what Gruenwald has written and you can see how he viewed Abstract beings (hint, VERY HIGHLY).

Not to mention it being unique in all the multiverse.

But that's gone now.

Hulk's a dumbass, deserved to be teleported into orbit for his unnecessary outburst. Thor also comes off as a jerk in the end.

Hyperion screams like a *****.

holy crap that avengers team looks so tight.

love the canonballhulk from orbit
hate the starbrand retcon

Oh, what's up with Hulk just smacking Captain America out of the way? Disobeying and assaulting his leader and everything's ok?

He's the Hulk, he can do whatever he wants. Unlike Thor who would just get a horrible beating for doing that to Steve...

lol

Seems like it.

Of course. "Thor you're out of control!" "But my Captain, I was merely patting you on the-" -one shot-

😆

Hmmm - everyone looked pretty good there IMO. Hulk getting knocked into space and coming back with the fastball special for the brief takedown, Thor took a Starbrand blast pretty well and was given respect at the end. Cap Universe babbled appropriately. Probably Hyperion looked the worst and thats only because he squealed a little. A much briefer fight than i was expecting previously to be honest.

The Starbrand itself looks super-tough but not unstoppable. I suppose thats disappointing if you were expecting literally infinite power or whatever it apparently was before.

they could give him a jet pack, but that would render the rest of the team useless.

Makes perfect sense, Hickman isn't writing the Starbrand as it was shown in Gruenwald's run. But Warren Ellis "Newuniversal".

The Starbrand came out looking pretty weak in this issue, imo.
