How can I make these scans bigger? If I click on them, they take me to photobucket and the scans are even smaller there.

Right click on the image on the photobucket page. Click on the "Open Image in New Tab" option.

Voila, you get a bigger scan.

What is the deal with PG's costume? Sometimes she wear that one...sometimes she wears the classic.

WTF?

That's DCnU PG, and it's from Worlds Finest #8 that was released sometime back, this year.

The comic in which we see Karen back to her old costume, is Worlds Finest #12. Which was much more recently released than the comics from which I posted my recent PG scans.

DCnU Superman is pretty much like Lex Luger.

His offense usually looks great, but when he takes a hit he oversells the phuck out of everything.

and just like luger there are about 20+ others just like him

Yeah, why did people enjoy that? Sure Major was being in ass, but how does that give Superman the right to resort to violence? And he's Superman, for all his power, I always enjoyed the fact that if there was any other option available other then hitting someone, he'd take it.

DCNU Superman is a lot more brash than the pre-reboot one. He's younger too, so he's still growing, and isn't the boy-scout yet.

Yes, he's being a dick in the scan, but it's still a nice feat to look at.

I like it precisely because it is something regular boyscout Superman would not do.

He isn't that young. Even so, that's poor characterization (at least in regards to what he stands for). He drilled him into the wall fer cryin out loud..

I guess they want this version to have an "edge".

He is at least 8-10 years younger than pre-flashpoint Supes

orion came off pretty superboy-prime'ish

Unfortunately for the dog of war he doesn't have the timeless classic lines.

I said younger. Not young. He's in his mind twenties at this point.

And the characterisation isn't out of line with how he's been treated since the reboot either; he's a good guy at his core, he can just be a bit of a dick at times, which I think is fair enough.

Besides, he'd never actually kill Major Force.

I haven't been keeping up with all the DCnU books, but if that's a reflection of his regular attitude, he might as well be a young Thor before the humility lesson. And all those military nutcases who think someone with that kind of power shouldn't be running around suddenly have some justification for their actions. I wouldn't be comfortable either if Superman acted like he could what he wanted, just because he had more muscle.

I'm not even sure why that's a feat unless the Major was knocked out. If then, kudos assuming he's done anything.

It's not how he regularly is. He's saved Metropolis quite literally more than once (and they revere him as a hero, like a lot of the world). He's just less willing to hold back if he gets pushed or if someone gets in his face.

I agree. DCnU Superman is a dick.

I generally don't like his character outside of fights. That scene with the major is pretty ehhh to me. Borderline bully-ish.

how edgy

I thought it was funny and was cool in terms of fan service feats go, but the characterization was kinda off to me. Though, to his credit, he was trying to be as direct as he could before Major Force went full retard.
