Thor halves a gigantic mile wide space wreckage hurtling down from the atmosphere. He incinerates half with a huge lightning bolt. What was interesting was he had the potential to indirectly destroy the whole city of Rio with a bolt so powerful it had the stored energy of a long dead star. It's called the Lorn Bolt!!

Superman and Batman have an exchange in the Batcave's secret room. In the room we see multiple boxes with the symbols of different JL members. Batman confessed he developed contingency plans for everyone. Superman feels like he was the one who motivated Bruce to do it since he gave him the k-ring. Then Bruce gives Kal a box with WW's symbol on it while he addresses why he is so concerned with Superman's relationship with Diana. Superman opens the box and it is empty, Bruce tells Superman that it is because Diana has no kryptonite(weaknesses) and that the only one who could stop her is Clark. Then Bruce gives him another Box with the Bat symbol on it and tells Superman that he is counting on him to do the same with him if push comes to shove. Kal opens the box, but we never see what is inside. He tells Clark to keep it.
