Shazam hit him twice. Neither punch appeared to have a significant effect on Superman, aside from the sheer physical force behind them... Which honestly surprised me. I thought for sure the 'magic hurts me' card would be played.

I think the brief altercation was complimentary to both characters; it made both look good without either look bad.

Also, I'd say that Superman is as much a favourite of Johns as most characters.

Yeah Lasso is no longer the oneshot win it used to be, and I suspect it is going to stay that way until WW's writer is changed. The current writer is focused more on her bracers and fighting skill.
