That was after the fight. Thor was clearly knocked out in the last panel where sentry is flying off.
You can blow rage of for all I care. I wasn't downplaying Thor there. I just posted what I gathered from the scans there. You disagree, fine. Don't go telling people that Sentry wanting Thor to be alive and then casually knocking him out isn't him toying with Thor.

Seriously just stop.

Question, what does Sentry being sent to the White Hot Room at his death mean? You're quite knowledgeable when it comes to the X-men mythos.

"The White Hot Room is a realm that serves both as the afterlife and a base of operations for the Phoenix."

Think the Sentry has some connection to the Phoenix Force? He's even relying heavily on telekinesis and telepathy. Usually the Sentry persona is more physical while the Void was the one who used mental powers.

I dont think the Sentry has ties with the Phoenix.

The White Hot Room is one of the many afterlife realms passing spirits go to. Apparently the Void passed away into that realm.

And the Sentry's TK/TP where explained in an interview. Following the Molecule Man scene, there is an interview where the author points out that Sentry is actually being made of pure psionic energy. Marvel's Plutonian.

No I am with Rage. This anti Thor campaign, makes you look blissfully pathetic.

Okay, whatever you say. I'll stop this discussion here, this thread isn't the place for it.

Fine by me.

I think Thor got knocked out. Sentry's not even in the last scan.

I hope Remember shows more in the next, and it looks like Thor got hit with some real mighty TK at first, hope they use more of Sentry's TK.

Thor and Sentry need to stop d*cking around and cut loose.

Also, Sentry is really reminded me of the Phoenix here with the telekinesis and telepathy usage. He even mentions the White Hot Room.

Thank you for those scans Rage!

Man when did Sentry become interesting again?! Also Sentry + White Hot Room..................omg_smilie

Black Panther had a pretty good showing against the Giant even though most of it was done off panel. They also did a nice display of power for Iceman when his body was hacked and he was referred to as an Omega mutant. What gem is the last remaining gem Thanos is talking about? Also, what is that on Ironman, Beast, Reed, BP, and Namor hands? Namor got punked by the way (unless he was pretending).

Carver what happened to Namor? Oh and the "final Gem" bit could be a reference to the Time Gem. Remember it wasn't destroyed when Cap used it to push back that other universe during an incursion event.

A few things, are revealed.

Even within the sun, the Void struggled with Sentry over its survival/resurrection. Until the Void grew bored of the struggle, and passed away.

However the Twins successfully resurrected the Sentry devoid from the Void persona. I wondered how the Death Seed would work with the Void Persona, since a programing takes place to grow a new persona, the Death Persona. The Void Persona would not embrace any tampering to his own mind.

Anyhow how, I really like how they are expanding on the Apocalypse Mythos. Ever since Messiah War, Marvel has been heavily exploring said Mythos. And rightfully so, as we are talking about the Celestially empowered super beings that cater to the desires to a race of Space Gods.

Sentry was in the white room? What the ****ing ****, Marvel. -headdesk-

I thought he just referenced WHR but he was actually in the sun.

Apparently Void went to "The Side Lands of the White Hot Room"

Remender always takes time to read up on the characters he's writing. I love how he's approached Sentry's immortality. Apparently Sentry was constantly regenerating from an atom but the sun's heat prevented him from coming back (which I admitt is a bit weird since it didn't bother him in the past)

Conflicting interest between Sentry and the Void.

Sentry wants to stay dead.
Void wants to revive.

Yeah Thor was out IMO. Sentry basically left and the fight (not that there was much of one) was over. He's up again at the end but its by no means clear that he is fighting The Sentry.

👆 I like this theory.

It's fair to say Thor was out but I don't understand what else you think he could be doing in that last panel if not taking on the Sentry? I guess we'll see next month.

I am guessing a Phoenix Force connection will probably be established in the near future. Unless Remender overlooked that part of the WHR's history.

I'll buy that Thor was down, but not quite out. Kinda expected something like this since Sentry was easily high herald to begin with and this version clearly has a power up.

Pretty good showing for both. Last thing I want is Thor beating up a guy who the writer is clearly portraying as a force to be reckoned with. It would be dumb and boring if he was so easily beaten.
