I am guessing a Phoenix Force connection will probably be established in the near future. Unless Remender overlooked that part of the WHR's history.
Also like he does the whole issue about angels and stuff. Although I swear I remember a time the White Hot Room and Sentry have been referenced before...
Though people like Quentin Quire have been inside before, and THE Wolverine was just outside it before. Meh

I am guessing that now that he's become directly involved in mutant plot devices like the Celestials' Death Seed, an actual connection with the WHR might be possible. An emphasis on "might" here.

Yeah, I forgot about the Galactus stuff. But remember, that was the Void talking, and current Sentry doesn't have the Void inside him any more.I am guessing that now that he's become directly involved in mutant plot devices like the Celestials' Death Seed, an actual connection with the WHR [b]might

Well, he went to the side lands of it, that's not far fetched when THE Wolverine himself was just outside the room when he had a near death experience. It's not just a mutant thing iirc.
Originally posted by TheGodKillerI was reminded of that as well. Thanos did lift his arm to do what he did though (maybe a cosmetic difference, but still). This reminded me more of classic Juggernaut w/ forcefields at their supreme peak, i.e., just slightly being pushed backwards by a godblast.
^That reminded me of the time when Thanos made Mjolnir fell with one raised palm.
I think there are other instances like this but I can't recall off the top of my head... ?

No action but this series continues to be awesome. I suggest you pick it up.
I love how he took the time to no only show-off what the thunder god is capable of in previous issues, but what type of hero he really is.
Just a beautiful stand-alone issue.
This series is straight dope!

Remender always takes time to read up on the characters he's writing. I love how he's approached Sentry's immortality. Apparently Sentry was constantly regenerating from an atom but the sun's heat prevented him from coming back (which I admitt is a bit weird since it didn't bother him in the past)
SENTRY was continually fighting the Void while in the sun. And when the Void got bored of the fight; it left. And SENTRY who always had the choice of life (resurrection) or death preferred to stay dead. The heat of the Sun didn't prevent him from doing anything.

Carver what happened to Namor? Oh and the "final Gem" bit could be a reference to the Time Gem. Remember it wasn't destroyed when Cap used it to push back that other universe during an incursion event.
Dont know why I am showing you this Zop. He got verbally raped. His kingdom fell off panel. Don't know what happened.
