Nope. I actually feel bad for Shuma Gorath. He's about to get phucked over again.Marvel's current writers don't seem to give 2 phucks about classic characters. They're all getting sh|t on. I thought Galactus escaped that treatment but it looks like he's about to get it too.
As much as I <3 Blue Marvel, I hope Shuma stomps that Avengers lineup but I know that's not gonna happen.

How is beating shuma's servant means its going to beat shuma?
I'm also worried that Shuma will be reduced to a lower-level character just to be a convenient punching bag for this aside to the main arc. Marvel tend to do that to old characters to make lame new characters look good.
But instead of outright ownage I'm thinking BM's portal tech will fit in with somehow banishing Shuma back, which is why the Watcher went and got him. The team will probably fight then BM will give him the final shove back into the portal. That's usually how these stories go anyway.

Naah, not recently. Wasn't he with the Avengers when he got choked to sleep by Wonderman?
Thunderbolt's Thunderbolts. It's him, Frank, Elektra, Deadpool, Leader, and some chick named Mercy.
I'm going to have to pick up this recent Mighty Avengers arc. What's it called? Also what's the larger threat that would seriously convince Doc Strange to summon Shuma-Gorath on Earth, something that he would kill his own mentor to prevent? Good to see the Wings of Needless Sorrow brought into the picture. Likely won't see Shuma clean house and kill a bunch of people so the most I can hope for is Shuma's defeat being due to plot device involving the Wings and banishment rather than getting beaten fairly by the freaking Avengers of all people.
Seems like most of Shuma's appearances lately have been based on his MvC3 inclusion. Hope they don't nerf his power to be as crappy in the comics as it is in the game. :/
