I can't wait to see Zop running wild with that and Cort's subsequent tears.
Marvel's current writers don't seem to give 2 phucks about classic characters. They're all getting sh|t on. I thought Galactus escaped that treatment but it looks like he's about to get it too.
As much as I <3 Blue Marvel, I hope Shuma stomps that Avengers lineup but I know that's not gonna happen.
Damn it's too late to edit my above post and I just now noticed something. Look closely at this picture, if that's what I think it is, then the Avengers beating Shuma Gorath wouldn't be PIS/CIS at all.

Enlighten us zop.

It's one of the items of power Strange collected on his way to battle Shuma Gorath. It's how he was able to drain Arioch (Shuma's servant with "limitless" power) of his energy. Holy crap. Who wrote this issue? It's obviously not Hickman. It's someone that actually respects continuity.

Honestly...we don't know where Blue Marvel power level is at. It must be pretty got darn high since Marvel tends to have a Watcher always following him. From every scene I've seen of him, when he stops holding back, he drops high Heralds with 1 or two punches. If for some strange reason he beats Shuma...I don't think it would be as low as people are saying it would be. Again, I'm just glad to see him back.

Nobody yet.Best guess would be someone on the later covers. Or Hawkeye somehow. It's always Hawkeye
I doubt it's Hawkeye. The guy was aware that something was summoned at the time. Not typical Hawkeye behavior. Although I agree he tend to appear when some new masked hero removes his mask

You have Pr always following you and it doesn't make you all that powerful.
The new 52 Arrow has been great under Lemire, with one notable exception.
He turned Count Vertigo to a whiny little beotch.
Here's the Count's bad@ss fight with Kanto on Apokolips, as a reminder for one of DC's best B-C list villains.
Round 1,
Vertigo engages the uber trained Kanto in h2h, but get's messed up when he tries to use his power, since the New God is immune.
Round 2,
The badly loosing blood Count take's Kanto's own weapon and take's the New God out (also gaining the respect from Granny Goodness). He also mentions his training (with the Squad) and utters some epic oneliners. "Mortals have slain gods before"
Aftermath,
Vertigo pulls through and recovers. His stamina also gets high praise.
I hope Lemire either stays away from Count Vertigo in the future or does some research on the character he's supposed to write, because after reading GA 24, that dumb as sh1t hipster weakling aint no bad@ss Count of Vlatava.

Sounds like he's been inspired by the Arrow TV show..
I was excited by the new Count Vertigo at first, but after issue 24 there's nothing "inspired" about him.
He is an exceptionally dumb weakling and a total joke.
And if it wasn't for the artwork he would take home the prize for worst "re-imagining" of a DC character (well not really, BeotchLobo has this).
Because putting dragon tattoos on someone and giving him mommy issue make's him bad@ss...
Sigh how in the world could Lemire butcher Ollie's greatest villain?
I mean Diggle is now in the DC Universe...WHO GIVE'S A SH1T?????
Another generic non meta sidekick!!!!!!!!!
HOORAAAAAAY!
That's what comics need. "Nolanizing" classic villains to the point they are not believable as a threat and clogging the mythologies with useless side characters.
Because DC's greatest archer and a martial arts master, needs a bodyguard.
Of course.
Especially if he runs in a serious threat like Count Ver...Oh wait
