Shame so many writers had to be unwilling to actually try the whole Superman and Diana thing, though. Just reeks of unprofessionalism or at the very least, bad communication.

I liked the idea of Supes and Wondy together. It sucks that writers won't at least put forth some effort to make it work, I mean, the potential for awesome stories is amazing. Shame that some people can't try something new for a bit and give us those stories.

Agreed. If that's ownage, the internet is WAY cooler than I gave it credit for. Let's post Youtube comments next. They may even have some valid points and criticism of Didio's treatment. But the collective anal clench of those comments overshadows that.

They'll get there eventually, the biggest hurdle is the romance. If they don't force the romantic aspect, it'll work pretty neatly.

Besides Supes shouldn't be worried about girlfriends so much, he's a super powered rescue hero and fighter, he's also an explorer.
He has plenty more out there to do than being domestic.

Indeed. The current writer of Superman/Wonderwoman doesn't seem to know much at all. Apparently this writer missed the part where Grant Morrison had Supes say he knew how to box.

That and Wonder Woman's strength.

The sad thing is, this book could be good. This could be, imo, the next Superman Batman. And I don't mean the new shit one, I mean the Loeb glory days.

They just should have gotten a top guy to write it. This is NOT a book for a newbie writer. This is Johns, Waid or even Morrison territory.

Agreed 100%. It really does seem like a massive missed opportunity. Also, I find it sad that new writers can't do the most cursory of checks into character backgrounds to see what has been established. I mean, the NU52 isn't exactly old now is it? It's not that hard to check it's short history.
