You should feel terrible. Hulk is fighting against Thanos AND his crew by his lonesome. That's not good for Thanos Quan...not at all. Let all of us hope that Hulk does not solo this. I like Thanos and I am in agreement with a lot of folks here, if Hulk solos this, that would either put Hulk in a different tier all together or that would drop Thanos stock by a large margin.

Yup I am aware that Hickman said that, and before Hickman even said that I already knew Hulk was more powerful physically. That is the premise of hulks character he is the "strongest there is" he is physically superior to every herald I terms of sheer brute strength, we are all aware of this. I have seen plenty of fights not in comics but in real life, mma, boxing etc. where strength is one of the last factors that you should rely on. So this is not a strength contest, this is a matter of matchup chemistry, different fighting styles clash so you can not apply abc logic to fighting. Thanos's black order members are a gifted group of individuals with unique powersets that can neutralize hulk due to his linear aresenal of abilities. Now Hyperion is waaay more versitile then hulk and he has better matchup potential against the black order and Thanos then hulk. He has flight, superspeed, reflexes, atomic vision which he can amplify its frequency resulting to a higher damage output. He even shares super strength on par with hulk. And we all know he is durable as hell by surviving the explosion of two universes. So with his abilities he can give Thanos and his crew a better matchup. Same thing applies to thor. Versatility is > brute strength.

I disagree...majority of the stuff you've named,Hulk has. The thing that makes Hulk nearly unbeatable is, the more you pound on him, the more powerful he gets. He is more of a threat imo and that's why Hickman sent him out there solo. It was even stated on panel last month that fighting and winning against the Hulk is near impossible due to his powerset. Yes, Hyperion is a beast but Hulk is by far more threatening.

The thing about this is, Hyperion and Hulk starts off at the same strength...hell, looking at Hulk recent fts he probably starts higher but any prolong battle, even for some seconds, everything about Hulk has increased. I think bringing Hulk to the battlefield was a smart idea of Hickman imo...we already seen how Hyperion handles huge threats (the robot), he got koed.

Carver buddy you say that hulk has the majority of abilities I stated? Cool I didn't know that hulk had flight, superspeed to hyperions extent, reflexes and heat vision. And you brought up the fact that hulk gets stronger the more angrier he gets, again we already know that. Thing is hulk can still get knocked out before he gets the opportunity to reach that point. And you say that the more he gets pounded on the angrier he gets, this is true to a certain extent. With this logic hulk should absolutely win every fight he is in, hell he should wreck Thanos one on one then. But Thanos is more "versatile" than hulk. And you keep bringing up hulks strength and I'm saying that hulk need more than that to win in certain matchups. Look what happened to hulk when the avengers fought the starbrand. He instantly got bfr'ed and he was floating in space and became useless. Captain Marvel had to fly all the way outer space to bring hulk back to the fight. But guess what if Hyperion gets bfr'ed the exact same way he can instantly get back into the fight due to his flight and being overall more "versatile". Carver I am not saying that Hyperion is superior to hulk, I am simply saying that he will give certain people such as thanos or his black order members a better matchup due to his abilities. Also the whole Hyperion getting knocked out by that unknown android was strictly pis. The android even knocked out thor so that isn't a low showing at all. Hickman wanted to establish that this new android is powerful and a team wrecker. This new android is easily a trans being. And I can guarantee you that if hulk was there and not at the shield base he would have been knocked out with thor and Hyperion as well. There is no doubt that hulk is the best tank on the team which is why he is out there first while the other avengers are trying to execute their plan, which is all essentially speculation.

Do not come in here bitching about your favorite characters getting owned or debating the reason they got owned or who would really win.
