Well, I don't want the thread closed, so the last thing I'll say is: yes, the bench-pressing feat was awesome. That and punching H'el so hard the whole planet was shaking were his best feats. Besides those two though, what has he done that is impressive strength wise? It almost seems like DC is going out of it's way to contradict those feats lately. Yes, everyone has low feats, but in Superman unchained it was revealed that both the Russian and American militaries can stomp Supes anytime they want, in addition to having SOMEONE ELSE (Wraith) shield SUPES from GUNFIRE...he seriously said get behind me, you can't take it...That's...yeah...what other character is getting treated like this day in and day out in their own books?

Anyway, this animated short owned my tear ducts! 🙂

That wasn't your average gunfire...the bullets was dipped in red solar energy. They prepped for Superman. Everything surrounding his weakened, they used it against him...even messed up his equilibrium so that he wouldnt fly off. You're not naming things thats bad about the character. He has been doing alright, especially for a new character. He just suffer from what every other character suffer from, low fts sometimes (the punching ft didn't shake the planet though...just want to point that out).

Superman is saying to himself, "I think I'm going to need Aquaman's help!" 😛

😂

And according to Philo, Nu-Superman is way stronger then Pre-Flashpoint Superman. Clearly the old Superman would have snapped his arms trying to lift a massive amount of weight like that.

Not surprising. Even with like dozens of Kryptonians helping, he pretty much killed himself trying to stop Brainiac's ship from crashing.

😖hifty:

It did. On panel. Deal with it.

Is that Hulk in the back?

Yup. Bruce Banner approaches Karnak and he gets punched in the face on the previous page. That's why Hulk's ripping out of his clothes on this page.

Don't really see a problem with what happened there. Hardly constitutes as Bendis writing.

Widow should have seriously trouble with Karnak if she isn't careful. Besides that he managed to kick Iron Man but it doesn't actually do anything except turn his head.

Hasn't felt super?

Christ, am I the only one who remembers him bench pressing planetary weight... for days on end...without any exposure to solar rays...all the while never coming close to testing the upper limits of his strength..?

This was less than a year ago, people.

Thats true, but on an average, superman has more low showings, that somewhat cancels out his previous(impressive) strength ft.

What the f***ing hell?

Good thing Lord Barton was there to save those losers' asses.

^ Is that supposed to be surprising? It's what Karnak does.

I have no complaints about any ownage really, just it looks SOOO much like Clint wanking it's not even funny. And the pose is just uhhhhhhh. It just looks shameless, and shamelessness never looks worse than in a comic book.

It is surprising considering his rather pathetic performances against BP.

Seen him blindsiding SS and Ultron, but never really thought he could hold his own in an actual fight. Tony must've been holding back as hell, trying to hug him or whatever.

^ I see your point. Because comic characters never job to Black Panther, ever.

arrrgh

They don't, BP is just that good.
