Different characters, different pantheons, different companies?
I take it as virtue of being gods makes their attacks inherently magical otherwise Gods should have no greater affect on Superman than anyone else... i.e. Zeus lightning/raw energy attacks of other gods excluding gods of magic like Hecate or maybe death deities. Also considering this is DC where everything that deals with cosmics/pantheons seems to be inherently magical I took a leap on the logic.

There are plenty of things to complain about with NU52 Superman. This isn't one of them.

Very nice ownage

Wonder Woman forgets she doesn't have bracers, lol.

I think that's the key here. Compared to "Siege" The Worthy" "Shadowland" et al, Infinity is the penultimate event lol.

I actually liked Siege for what it was

Supes looks like a crying moron there. And what the hell is wrong with his arm? Did Liefeld sneak in and finish the art?

No. Maybe it's just too many ideas.

It's a shame too because I was really excited about this event. I mean, F4 was amazing, but meh.

Maybe I would have liked it more if it would have focused solely on either Thanos, or the Builders. Thanos has been the best part of the event so far, even when he's doing nothing, but if the Builders were exclusive I think we would have gotten some better development.

As someone on another board mentioned i think the fact that it essenially has two major storylines is a big plus compared to most events which have one fairly straightahead storyline stretched out over 8-12 issues and too many tie-ins. Still the Builder's ultimate defeat did, perhaps inevitably given the story structure, come off as rather anti-climactic.

I think they slapped Thanos in there just to lend it some extra cosmic credibility and I'd wager that more people care about the ending involving Thanos than what ultimately happened with the builders.

I don't care about either 👆

I'm mildly curious. Not enough to warrant a purchase though.
