Infinity suggests that Cap and Thor are the back bone of, well, pretty much everything.

Did I mention I'm enjoying Infinity?

Same here

screw the hater's that are on this forum.

I'm with you. Infinity has been good.
At least much better than anything Marvel had to offer recently

Terrible fight.

Delete this.

I wouldn't really call that a fight.

What bugs me about that bout was the whole Superman getting amp from Apollo sun blast.

Since Apollo is magic, shouldn't his sun blast weakened Superman instead of powering up instead.

Depends. If he threw a rock at Superman, does it automatically make the rock magic? Course not. Apollo could've simply blasted 'normal' solar energy at him.

Do you really think your example of the rock is analogous to what happened?

Yes. If Zatanna or Odin or whoever created a rock out of thin air....but created a NORMAL rock, with no magical properties, then its just a rock.

Apollo created solar energy. Through magical means, yes, but if he created normal solar energy, then it wouldn't affect Supes negatively.

If, if, if, if.

Wolverine vs. the X-men:

Oh Wolverine, you and your magical claws. Also, how strong was classic Rogue? On par with classic Ms. Marvel right? This scene implies that she's a lot stronger than a younger Colossus:

👆

Flight might have helped her a bit, but during that particular era she was indeed stronger than Colossus, afaik.

I just liked the way superman treated him like a 115lb weakling after getting hit with sunlight.

Thor's lighting is described as being inherently magical. I don't see why this should change for apollo

Different characters, different pantheons, different companies?

Here's a funny skit

I think the solar energy being his power source>>>his magic weakness.

He should have at least gotten hurt by it, even if it feed him.

I think that's the key here. Compared to "Siege" The Worthy" "Shadowland" et al, Infinity is the penultimate event lol.
