What I don't understand is whether or not the Terrigen bomb siphoned off his power to activate itself or had a negative effect on his body.

Hmm, so it seems his voice activated the Bomb and spread it world wide. What I'm not sure of now is did it siphon off the sound from his original scream at Thanos (Meaning he didn't get hit with anywhere near the full blast) or somehow from his body directly?

If it's the former, I wouldn't be surprised if his full power scream could actually take out Thanos. That would definitely make it a Skyfather level attack.

I am a fan of Thanos but I'm not going to give him fts he doesn't deserve.

Did it say anywhere that his power was being syphoned or did the voice attack activate the bomb? Until this question is answered, it appears Thanos took atleast 1 full powered scream from BB. With all these asterisks being thrown on Thanos' stomping of BB, atleast he can take away that stellar Thor showing. Reminiscent of when he took the full on blast from Surfer with zero effect.
