No, the soundwaves were converted into light as they left his mouth. The commentary literally explains it to you. The bomb got the bulk of the power. That was Maximus' plan all along.The fact that the power of his voice was dispersed into two different courses (the bomb and directed at Thanos) automatically means that Thanos didn't get the full monty.

BB was impressive, especially if the bomb was in fact draining some of his energy. But I don't see his scream as being Skyfather level:
"You did it mom! You tanked a Skyfather level attack! Yaayyyy!!!"
On another note, I was expecting Thane to own Thanos somehow at the end, but not in a single panel. I guess putting him in carbonite stasis is actually a pretty effective way of defeating a super-tough character like that.
Starbrand was also impressive wrecking the fleet. He could probably have soloed Thanos himself with that attack. Or they could have just called Legion...
