It's funny because Reis(the guy who penciled that issue) really just copied Williamson's depiction of old-Supes from nearly 20 years prior:

Never noticed that before.

Intriguing.

Talk shit about Bane's flaccid penis, will you?!

Well that was Paul Jenkins, the biggest BB fanboy in the world. He once said that Sentry would beat Thor in two seconds and BB would beat Sentry in two seconds.

😱

There's also precedent for Sentry not fighting a fellow big gun, to avoid massive destruction or casualties. I'd tend to think that's what was happening there, and that it's a fairly obvious interpretation.

Don't bait. It's as bad or worse than the incessant arguing that generally follows.

Ok everyone I have been avoiding kmc for the past couple days because I haven't read the final issue of Infinity and new avengers and didn't want to spoil myself. I just finished reading it fresh, and man what a conclusion. I have always liked proxima but after this issue I love her. She has well established herself as a true elite and I am soo pleased that they kept her alive she also potentially has one of the most powerful weapons in marvel comics. Corvus Glaive's end saddened me although I cannot lie I laughed when his death was assisted by Cap. Cap as of late has been getting some crazy feats. But this is one of the most impressive that I have seen in a while (for his shield atleast) him actually deflecting proximas spear and impaling poor Corvus. It was also sick seeing Hyperion put the nail in the coffin with his Hollywood-esque one liner lol. The Thane twist at the end somewhat caught me off guard. Does anyone know if Thane willingly accepted who he was and decided to mold his own legacy similar to Thanos, but in a more superior fashion. Or is the ebony maw utilizing his compulsion abilities on thane in the same manner he did doctor strange? I am pretty sure thane is doing this willingly and Maw simply sees his potential and wants to teach/use him. It just caught me off guard that Thane would just all of a sudden have a change of heart and would adopt evil intentions. Then again with such an event going on and chaos happening around him I'm not surprised that he would alter his perception on his true "purpose". Also I read some of the last couple of pages of people debating whether or not black bolt was at full power when fighting Thanos or with his initial scream destroying attilan, I definitely side with those saying he was depowerd especially after the confirmation in new avengers 12. Looks like Hickman is already setting up his next event. Also I never cared for the inhuman race before this event (besides BB, and maximis) but Hickman really captured my attention towards them and made me realize how unique they are, and now I can't wait for inhumanity. Well infinity was a great ride, Mr Hickman did an excellent job and I can't wait to support his future projects.

Are you familiar with punctuation and spaces? 😈

Corvus isn't dead, as long as his blade remains intact he lives. You also hear Proxima proclaim "I've got you!" as she grabs the blade, right before being imprisoned in the state of living death. I'm betting the Illuminati will release all three of them in the near future.

Corvus is still alive. As long as his glaive is whole, he can't die. He'll be back eventually.

Wow thanks for the check guys that completely went over my head while reading. I had a rare derp moment there. I thought for a second that proxima was speaking metaphorically when she said "i have you!" Corvus was my #1 favorite general and I am so happy that he is still alive and merely captured via Thane.

Thanos going super saiyan mode lol.

Does anyone recall comic characters "powering up" in that manner prior to DBZ becoming big here in the States lol?

😂 @ Thor vs Thanos.

He was basically treated the same way noob Hal was against Darkseid.

(yeah, I know I'm late to the party)

At least they put Thor against Thanos and he wasnt totally punked out by his generals like the entire rest of the team was.

Don't worry, it's always the right time to laugh at Thor.
