Pak's Action Comics has been very good so far. In fact, Action Comics 25 was probably my favorite Superman issue of the entire DCnU so far.

I'd have to agree. His first arc of Batman/Superman was also decent. His second arc has left me cold, but the last Action comics issue was good at setting up some interesting elements. Really like Ghost Soldier. Hope we see more of him.

Honestly at the end of WWH I did not liked Pak so much, but if you read his whole run, you can tell he was an avid Hulk reader while growing up, I think his wild figure numbers he tends to throw on his books are too much, but. I tend to enjoy his stories more often than not. At least with the Hulk. Only time will tell how he will fare with superman, but Pak has shown that he knows how to hype his books and sell them,

Captain America is simply the best, his "you got sonned" power ist really impressive.

It wasn't a bad issue or anything, but the best Supes issue since the reboot? Can't say I agree, personally.

Why exactly did you find it that good?

Unchained has been Superman best run imo.

That snake eyes panel made me giggle pretty good

The first 8 issues of AC, which featured n00b/plain-clothed Superman trying to piece the hero thing together as he went, was my favorite Superman material of the DCnU. By far. Issue #2 in particular.

👆 forgot about that. Isn't that same Superman in the Pak run?

^ Pak's had a few flashbacks to n00b Superman, yeah.

He just can't tell as good of a story as Morrison, imo... Especially where Superman is concerned.

Well, I like the young brash "T-shirt" Superman. Furthermore, that issue was just pure fun. Honestly, with so much gloom and doom in comics nowadays, it's nice to see one where a superhero is just having a blast while smashing bad guys and saving people. The entire time I read it I had a smile on my face.

I also really liked Morrison's early issues as well, but I felt Pak's was just a bit more fun. Perhaps, quite simply, because I despised Rags Morales's art in the Morrison issues.

The adult Superman during that run seems too cocky and UN- Superman like imo. The young Superman is amazing though. He seems a bit more jealous of his old, mature, but cocky persona.

Wow, really? I dug the art.

So Cap is irish huh? Your thoughts PR?

Wow those Captain scans make me realize just how much the liberal agenda is being pushed by these writers. I wish they were more balanced.

So He-Man apparently did 'kill' Superman(although we KNOW he obviously isn't going to stay 'dead'.) Later on, Supes disappears from the field Jedi-style:

_______

Brutaal never disappoints:

"It's nice to meet a fan"....... *CRACK* 😂

_______

Pandora is the first person in the DCnU who has outright owned Constantine's prepped magic. Very impressive:

PS follows it up with a b*tchslap:

He Man. Badass.

Wait what? How is being against xenophobia and blind fanaticism to authority a liberal idea in the US. You do realize that almost since the US's inception those ideas have been something important to the basis of the US. I mean historically the United States has treated immigrants like shit but the general moral highground stance the country likes to take is that everyone deserves a chance in the country to make a living and be happy regardless of race or creed. Furthermore, when one of the founding principals of the nation is to question the authority of the government i.e. duty of the people to overthrow a corrupt government you kind of need to question the orders of superiors and weigh the order against your personal morality and decide whether or not to take a stand on your moral views rather than the ethical view the country has provided. (for those who don't know the difference morality is a personal belief of right and wrong while ethics is right and wrong introduced from society)

I actually like it in small doses in comics so long as it doesn't come off as overly preachy or extremist crazy talk.

But seriously it's not liberal, leftist, extremism to question the morality of an order. Given the context of the panels I don't mind Cap calling into question the morality of following an order that seems fit to come out of a gestapo officer to kill civilians.

Does that mean he's catholic? Now I want to see Cap kissing the Pope's ring.

Hahahaha.
