Yup, he certainly did. If I had the scans I'd show you. I hope someone else uploads them. Throughout the comic it implied that the amped Batman wasn't Superman level strength either...so, do you see why I'm saying that it's getting on-par with AvX Thor yet? It may not be there yet, but it isn't far at all.
Supes fought Apollo in an earlier issue of Superman/WonderWoman. Apollo hit him with a ***** slap that sent him reeling into a pool of lava, and then Supes punched Apollo. It seemed like Apollo took the punch better than Supes took the ***** slap. Then Apollo blasted Supes with Sun energy and amped him, and Supes threw him out of the mountain they were in for the win.
Also, if DC is doing things now just because people are complaining on a message board...wow.

It should be noted that Superman hit Apollo with his best all-out punch or whatever and it didn't really do anything besides knock him off his feet both times IIRC.

Okay, I might have been exaggerating but I specifically remember Superman saying he wasn't going to hold back (Mental blocks and dynamic strength!) or whatever against a God or something of that sort.

I deleted the comic out of my files but it's Batman - Superman #6. Happened during the time both fought Mongul. I have 5 (dont know why when it was boring as hell) and it started when Mongul killed Batman. He was transformed into some type of Super human. I can upload it in about 20 min if you still need me too. Let me know.
