No, they were not super charged but the rest of your post is correct.

When did he power them up and how?

Yes.
Not the same writer. It was stated that the lack of sunlight would prevent him from healing altogether.

Yes, to heal him from his bruises. Doesn't mean his durability was leasoned.

John once again proves that he is un-possessable:

Necro then possesses Swamp Thing and uses him to pull Constantine into the The Green. But unbeknownst to Necro, Constantine has Druid blood in him(evidently he won a pint of it in "a very enjoyable game of chance" lol), and is able to utilize a 'Wood Walk' spell enabling him to expertly navigate through The Green:

Necro uses a cheap shot to get Constantine into a magic circle that begins dragging he(and Swamp Thing) to Hell. Before being dragged down, however, Constantine appears to kill Necro by skewering him with a magical blade he manifested on the fly:

Oh man, the time baby X-Men are still running around, in space now? Hilarious.

Wait. A single Two blasts from a Pre-Krakoa Cyclops actually manage to hurt Glads?

Other than that, not a bad scene from Bendis 👆

He's a sun god. THE Sun God.

They're powered by the Sun.

The Sun shines during the day.

Wounds weaken characters in comics carver. Poor wonder woman, even getting wrapped in his indestructible cape can't make her survive a nuke without getting KOED.

They are just one upping John's feats every month.

But Superman was out there getting the same beams they were getting though. I don't get your point.

Erm....he can direct his sun beams? To shine preferentially on some more than others? Hell, we even see that happen in this very same issue!

What do YOU think Apollo was talking about, then, when he said:

".....I powered up the two new ones more quickly than they might otherwise have been...."

?

Apollo said they were. Stated on panel that he had amped them.

His durability was already lessened due to the fight. Add to the fact that he's in a nuclear reactor that is radiation shielded (ie, stops him from getting more sun), and he's not going to be healing.

The logic behind Superman being blocked from absorbing sunlight and that makes him weaker is stupid.
In fact doesn't that already go against the continuity established that he can keep going for 5 days or whatever without.
Why are we talking about durability? If there was a piece of krytonite inside the reactor there would be room for discussion but all I see is a bloodied superman from a beating(by an already stronger opponent) being knocked out by a nuke.

It was a nice issue otherwise

So in the previous encounter, when Superman's arm was broken, the Kryps were supercharged by Apollo?

Apollo did help the Kryptonians, that was made pretty clear. I just think you're confusing a POWER UP with what was said. Apollo helped them gain Kryptonian level strength faster then they normally would. Remember, they've been on the planet a very short time and yet are just as strong as Clark.

It wasn't until that blast from the sky that they were beyond normal levels and became supercharged.

He lifted earth weight when he was cut off from the sun, so its not like it plays a huge role on this version of Supermans power level.

Being in the radiation chamber didn't WEAKEN him but it did prevent him from healing because he had no direct access to sunlight. It was the beatdown from Zod that weakened him.

Anyways, this book is making Superman look incompetent as f*ck. Zod was recovering from a blast and was still beating the utter shit out of Clark.

Also, I think this should settle the debate on whether or not Diana is as strong as the Kryptonians. She was holding her own against Faora who wasn't weakened like Zod and didn't even use her weapons.

Dianna is magic through and through. Kryptonians are weak to magic.

That's definitely why Dianna did so well. 🙂

Yes. Also, rage, you hit my nail on its head.

I should've said was charged to the level of Clark, not super charged. I thought it was clear, but then, obviously not to some. Bug that's OK because I Hate him.
