The scans with Thanos and Thor. That was a different Super Nova. It was stated as being capable of destroying the Universe. That's far more power.

You didn't actually read the comic, did you? The starS of all the universe were going to destroy the universe. That single star wasn't going to destroy the universe.

Also Gladiator died in a supernova too.
