Heralds dying to Nova / Supernova is perfectly consistent. They regularly get hurt by lightning bolts, cement trucks, exploding gas stations, Spider-Man/Captain America punches etc, etc. That being the case, they should be totally, utterly annihilated by a Supernova. If they have ever been shown to withstand something like that, it should be considered as an inconsistent high-end feat (i.e. writer error).

Relax Carver, no need to panic. The entire Universe was destroyed by the Supernovas along with everything in it. Including Thor, Thanos, Drax etc. who have all survived worse under the same writer and I'm guessing the Cosmic Entities as well?
They are regular Supernovas like Thor is a regular human. Although even if the Supernova's were thousands of times more powerful, every star detonating at the same time would still not give the desired effect.
