Probably, yes. And the heat vision guy is Sunman or whatever he's called - yet another Superman clone.
Sunman? ...sigh. What is the point of this character when you already have Superman. Is he atleast an intricate character with a unique personality? I'm assuming not because that is the nature of characters like him.

Shut up, Rage. The title of this thread is Character Ownage (Unless You're Superman, In Which Case Context Will Always Be Provided, Lest You Doubt How Awesome Superman Is, Was, And Always Will Be).
😂
Yeah, it's pretty funny how context is irrelevant when posting random ownage of Thor/Surfer/Wonder Woman/Hulk etc. but when it's Superman? Oh no! We must make it CLEAR what happened.

Not that he's the only one guilty of this on a regular basis, but this tendency is why tying one's fandom toward a character to their feats is so poisonous. I could actually like Superman, for example, if this kind of crap didn't dominate the discussion...and forget abhi, I mean a significant portion of the fandom as a whole. At times, the mythic status DC had given Superman, in a good writer's hands, was awe-inspiring regardless of feats. Now a lot of that is suppressed while we endlessly waffle over whether or not he's the "top dog" in a particular universe/tier/etc.

the armored guy is the Rider. he's literally wearing a dark knight suit and Sungod specifically called him wayne. Their team name is J.U.S.T.I.C.E . Yeah, they're shameless ripoff of the Justice League
The way I look at it is it's gotta be homage. I remember when in Superman/Batman, they fought a group who was member for member a ripoff of the Avengers. I saw that as a homage to them as well.

Why are you throwing a tantrum? From what I've read, he was going to explode and crack the hemisphere with it. Nothing about your scans contradicts this development.
At best, your scans prove that the nanites were negatively affecting his powers but they do not affect my main position in the slightest.
Although I'm sure if I want to get the real picture, I should read the arc for myself.
Question for all of the DC aficionados. I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but at the end of forever evil 6 Mazahs got introduced. The split second that I saw him I instantly fell in love. I fell in love with every portion of his character design; from his costume, to his shaggy hair, his beard which gave off that rebel look, I mean I loved everything. I think I read on another site that since Mazahs is Shazam backwards and that like the crime syndicate his is an alternate version of shazam he has an ability that is the polar opposite to billys. Supposedly instead of having the capacity to distribute his powers to others like Billy, he instead takes powers away from others. This made me theorize that perhaps he is more powerful then ultraman and ultraman actually fears him because of this, which explains why they enslaved him. He may end up being a good guy as well. I want to know is Mazahs a classic character who just never had a run similar to The Sentry in his early career? Or is he an original exclusive character to the new 52. Regardless I love him already and can't wait to see more of him.

Kidding aside and to answer your question, hell if I know. I just started reading DC last week.

Lightning had a really weird affect on her and Thor was mentioned. They also kept mentioning how she looked familiar and reminded them of someone. Guess they weren't lying about her being Asgardian a plan in motion.
Right at the end there, I wanted Rulk to pop out of a soup bowl, and T-bag the hell out of baldy. But yeah that was awesome. I have to follow this book. GOTG seems to be going in the right direction. It would be great to see Star Hawk, and Aleta join up.
