No Bracers Wonder Woman vs. Doomsday Superman? Should be interesting. This is either going to be Carver's favorite issue of the year or his most hated.

I remember when a certain poster who may or may not be related to my sig was arguing that just because other writers like Soule did not have Wonder Woman removing her bracers, it was not a recognized power up that should be applied when discussing power levels.

Or something.

Lol.

But like I said, it's not a big deal when you compare Hyperion stopping a planet going at 500k mph. LOL

👆

Or Superman casually stopping and countering the momentum a small moon sized ship coming out of hyperspace 😛

On a side note, the anti-superman butt hurt is funny.

Any feat he is having right now under Pak is just a "meh" as he performed even better feats under other writers what makes the Pak feats sweet is the fact that Hulk fans are feeling betrayed by their prophet 😆

Looks like she is channeling the God of War.

This is like straight from Revelation.

Previous issues of Superman/Wonder Woman featured the death and resurrection of 2 "Christ" figures (Clark and Diana, respectively) and now you've got "The Beast whose deadly wound was healed", turning on the Woman.

That Biblical scenario ends badly for the Woman, though; no surprise if that happens here.

stfu

A much different take on the origin of Anti-Monitor, and the pre-Flashpoint continuum:

mmm

Is this new 52, and is it John's writing it?

That seem like a hint, that pre crisis Superman earth one Superman may still exist in the multiverse.

Maybe advertures of Superman? mmm

Unlikely honestly, but nice for them to pay homage to that event and those characters

The hell are you talking about? Are you confusing Jason and the Argonauts with the Bible?

Not surprised. Diana is getting much love in DC. She already held her own against an amped Superman.

😂

Come on, Carver. Superman would break her in two.

It's not so much an amp as it is a mutation, tbh.

Crazy that you hype up certain DC characters but downplay the main ones (you called Superman weak sauce and your downplaying Diana even though both of their fts has been impressive).

WW has given me nothing to hyper her on. She's formidable, but compared to her old pre-Flashpoint self, she isn't even close. Superman has some impressive feats, but has some low ones too. He's still a baby in appearances too.

Now guys like Frankenstein and OMAC have near flawless showings. For now.

It is going to make him stronger though.

Indeed.

Similarly, Hulk is not so much an amp as he is a mutation of Bruce Banner, a kind of cancer going out of control.

The thing is, Superman was just instigating WW there. He wasn't trying to fight to hurt her.

Nah, Superman outright said he'll continue to get stronger:

Didn't even the solicits for Action Comics note the virus exponentially increasing his strength?

I mean, if he gets Doomsday's power added to his own, that would be a huge boost.

Superman is still in the early stages of this mutation. We don't know how much stronger he is, if at all. He was strong enough to fight the virus or whatever.

Once it fully kicks in, he's supposed to get massively more powerful. Enough to take on multiple high heralds it seems.
