All of IDW's Dredd stuff has been pretty awful, in my opinion. The Year One mini was good (it started brilliantly but dropped off a little). The other Dredd stuff has been varying shades of bad to awful.

Third party publishes have never seemed to understand what makes the Dredd-verse work. The DC attempt at it back in the day was beyond awful too.

Yep, for whatever reason american publishers want to make Dredd mainstream just because he's so iconic and miss the target by a mile.

I've been thinking about getting most Dredd comics for a while, very interesting collections are being published in France, maybe I should go ahead and treat myself.

mortal kombat does put more into their story so i guess that's good for them, but i'm about game play so street fighter has that in the bag, just saying i wish the sf comic reflected how good the fights can be even with characters that are unimportant to the story
