Apparently Thanos was put on trial in front of the upper-echelon cosmic hierarchy after his rampage with the IG. However, he wasn't concerned about their judgement, thanks to his ace in the hole(Nebula):

Nebula usurps a 'living armor', and evidently gains power enough to: "slay a Celestial", "enslave the embodiments of the universe", and "free Thanos" from his cosmic trial:

the armor? nebula swiped it from stellaris. evidently the armor's origins are yet unknown, but stellaris spent her free time with the armor trying to kill celestials for destroying her homeworld.

Stellaris rammed a Celestial 'destroying' the galaxy and couldn't do shit to it.

Also what's the time frame on that infinite comic? Because it appears to be modern day GotG. If that's the case it might be legitimizing Bendis' terrible Avengers Assembled arc.

I should have put it in quotes. She's relatively weaksauce and the suit being a sure ace for Thanos seems kinda laughable, BUT we all know it will do the trick so I mean...yeah

It's going to be more powerful somehow, even if it's dumb as hell
