Because it's part of recreating the Illuminati. Namor was an original member, and a great power in the world.

The group isn't about getting the smartest people together, it's about getting the greatest powers together to solve problems. Otherwise BB and DS wouldn't be there. Beast is there because he's a good asset. Bruce is there because not only is he smart, but he's a "worldbreaker". And Cap was originally there (in the New Avengers), but he never fit in with the underhandedness/doing what you must of it all.

And say what you will about Hickman (coughcough 😉), but his Namor is pretty fantastic.

I knew that, its just that, he is not one to be trusted, heeven started the fight, and aside from being a human plot device, i dont see any other reason, sorry

He's not being a plot device, he is being himself. Each character brings somesomething important to the group. Hickmans writing on this title is great.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you guys know that last night I saw Guardians of the Galaxy.... And it was amazing. I wouldn't change anything about the movie. The pacing was perfect as well as character development and the casting was well done as well. I highly recommend you all see it. Marvel has been producing an excellent product recently.

NOTHING to do with the comic, but incredible entertaining. There is a scene in the movie that will cause you to hyperventilate from laughing.

Yeah at this point you have to come to terms that Marvel/Disney can never keep it %100 comic accurate and please everyone. They have a 3 step plan to follow and must fulfill their agenda. Also I hyperventilated from laughter plenty of times lol, not sure which scene you are referencing. But yeah the movie was an extremely fun ride.

I know. But the comic book versus forum is literally the only section I go on when on kmc. I wasn't here for a movie discussion just a quick recommendation then drop it. Pr and Bada also don't mind it.

Thanks for letting me know about the movie. I wasn't going to go see it but since a lot of people on here said it was good, including yourself, I'm going to see it today.

Funny how you pick out one panel of the fight as an example of "character ownage" but don't show the entire fight. Superman hate much?

You must be new here. That scan was posted ages ago and is meant as a silly joke.

That is kind of the point of the thread. Mods approve. Scans, pannels, no context necessary.

Yeah, I'm pretty new here and I'm not laughing. Showing a picture of Spider-man knocking around a Superman who has been weakened by red sun radiation and calling it "ownage" without showing the rest of fight is typical Superman hate. Same thing goes for the picture posted of Thor hitting Superman with his hammer without showing the rest of the fight and who actually got "owned". I'm sure there are tons of other similar out-of-context so-called examples of Superman "getting owned" posted in this thread so I stopped looking at them after seeing the one with Thor's hammer hitting Superman.
