well thanos has been utterly psycho stomped by lord marvel, squirrel girl, star lord, hulk, drax, and the list goes on.
Marvel seems to be using thanos now in the same way they used apocalypse in the past which is a meta tier villain.

Starlord had the Mandalay Gem (may have got name wrong) which was a celestial artifact I believe.
Squirrel Girl is Squirrel Girl so including her wouldn't matter. And I don't recall him being beaten up by Hulk, there is an upcoming battle but it isn't out yet.
