Depending on the version of Genis, Sam would still take him out. Not arguing about Morlun's level though, since I've only seen a few pages of this storyline.

I meant WW is of the few of the new 52 that has both a good story line and artwork.

Too me personally, WW and Earth 2, may have there weakpoints, but in the overall big picture there pretty solid compares to the other titles.
