Nothing you've said so far precludes what I've proposed.

If Enchantress forgot she was the Enchantress, but spent weeks upon weeks as a mortal in civilian disguise, then she would think in Modern English.
As she apparently DOES.

However, as a mortal found worthy of wielding Mjolnir, she would now have the power of Thor, or whatever Mjolnir grants to its wielder.

There's nothing preventing more power being added to her own, is there?
Recall now that even Superman and Wonder Woman had the power of Thor ADDED to their own when they wielded his hammer -- their own powers were not replaced, but supplemented.

Incidentally, this is another reason why I parallel this to the case of Circe.
Circe not only became Donna Milton, she later added Diana's own power to her own AND adopted the identity of Wonder Woman!

If Enchantress is indeed who we are seeing as Lady Thor right now, it would be an almost perfect parallel case.

Even if (actually, ESPECIALLY if) she forgot who she "really" was to begin with:

Ok, if she thinks in modern English, because she forgot who she rally was, then why wouldn't she also speak in modern English? That's what you seem to be missing.

Interesting enough, Batman had not a prayer to beat Darkseid, just delay the inevitable. But it was his own fault, if you depower yourself with such a week armor instead of just using the almighty batkick...

Yes this is very much what I was trying to portray, that Hell Suit Batman doesn't have a chance at beating a Low Abstract/Post Skyfather Character like Darkseid, but he has shown he is able to temporarily delay them. Very similar to how Thanos demonstrated he could not defeat a skyfather character, but could temporarily delay them.

Because, for whatever reason or host of reasons, she's trying to convincingly imitate Thor:

For what reasons, exactly? And she's clearly not imitating Thor so much as actually speaking Asgardian. Hell, she does it while alone when there'd be no reason for it.

See, in order for your theory to really old water, this point would need to be addressed.

Oh, and then there's the fact that Amora is in Axis, alongside Unworthy Thor so, clearly, these stories are happening simultaneously.

Thor owning the mutes in Axis#8 was awesome!

😕

I don't think that's nearly as "clear" as you think it is ...

Thor was still shown with both arms intact in AXIS #7(the most recent issue):

Therefore, the events of AXIS obviously take place before the events of Whor #1--which is when Thor lost his arm, and Whor was officially born.

Ffs its rosalind solomon, not the enchantress.

Smh...

Evan is weak sauce. Jarnbjorn's enchantment/celestial armor hax and a sneak attack is one thing, but all he managed was a punch? And he didn't use any of his other powers? C'mon son.

I'd regard the following statements somewhat similarly at this point:

it is bruce wayne, not batman
it is clark kent, not superman
it is curtis connors, not the lizard
it is donald blake, not thor
it is donna milton, not circe
it is jake olsen, not thor
it is peter parker, not spiderman
it is thaddeus ross, not red hulk

Enchantress tends to prove herself a powerful little flaxen-haired lunatic by ANY name, though. As a f'r instance, in keeping with the theme of this thread ...

(Secret Wars I, #11 or 12, iirc ...)

Amora, the unlikely brawler, continued ...

(first contact with Jen, in Marvel's Original Secret Wars)

Ffs guy, rosalind solomon is not the enchantress. Where are you getting this?

Everything I'm seeing to date.

Who else has the motivation AND a history that explains everything we see so thoroughly?

Magic vaults and Asgardian speech aside, the newfound altruism of Enchantress over in Axis teases the possibility as well ...

This. Its painfully obvious at this stage.

1) Its obviously a human and not an Asgardian for reasons that have been made abundantly clear already
2) It doesnt seem like Jane but someone much more noob-ish about Thor and Asgardian jazz in general
3) Rozz is Aaron's creation

And she even mentions having met Dario Agger before.

That would most likely be due to artist error, as opposed to any meaning within the context of continuity.

And, again, you haven't answered the question as to why she'd be speaking Asgardian while alone or why she'd be imitating Thor.

It's getting a bit ridiculous at this point.

Thor pretty much punked Apocalypse.

It must be noted that Apocalypse smacked down Kluh.

So...

Hammerless Thor >> Apocalypse >> Amped Hulk

Sounds about right mmm

Godzilla:

Destoroyah is supposed to kill Godzilla, not Mothra!

I guess it makes sense for Goji to win after getting tons of help though.

Medusa/Spidey:

"Oh No! I'm Fallllling!"

Classic.
