And after the death of his dad, apparently' he's lost the main impetus for his crazy behaviour. So he's more focussed etc now.

It was him and Reaper who walked away,

Banshee was found and they tried to remove the Death Seed from him.

He had the Death Seed in The Death of Wolverine: The Logan Legacy, but at some points of the comic he didn't.

Although that takes place before Wolverines #1

Maybe a new Apocalypse arose and the Deathseeds that weren't chosen fizzled?

Remender mentioned that if something happened to Evan then something interesting could arise for another character. Presumably whoever ascended.

That's all the context there is. Just the one panel. It was a compeition for people to try and last 3 rounds with her and they get $1000. Wasn't a staged fight.
