Is that canon to the every day Supes? It isn't a present showing for the character...correct? Haven't been keeping up with him lately, seems like I need to start again.

Lol...just asking ABHI. If it is, then it's an amazing ft for the character, if not, then, the ft is still great but it just belongs to an unknown power level Supes.

Given that Supes got his ass handed to him by Brainiac in the previous issue(s), I'd say Mr Terrific's assertion that he seemed "nearly spent" was probably correct. Lois also noted that he "didn't look so hot" after he regained consciousness from Brainy's attacks in the last issue.

He definitely wasn't at 100%, imo.

It indeed does seem that Supes was weakened. It's a great feat. It's also nice to see a direct combat feat of tanking attacks and then taking Brainy out with one hit.

From behind? No. He was treated like an insect with the way Brainiac casually ignored his attacks and just manhandled him.

Agreed. Brainiac was obviously above Adam and everyone else he faced. Didn't he take Superman along with other top tiers out casually as well? Adam punching through his head was hellava impressive imo even though he was obviously above Adam.

How does a punch right through him do less than a punch that doesn't go through him?
The only way that would work is if Superman hit a sensitive area or something.

This reminds me of Buu. If you tear him to shreds he's fine. But if you don't it'll ruin him.

In any case. Good feat. We can only hope Gladiator gets beat bad next issue to match up with Superman...

That doesn't work for making sense. I'm not trying to Carver the feat and take it away from him. I'm just saying that it's never made sense for these uber regenerators to be beat or seriously hurt by punching that appears to do no physical damage.

Especially when a punch goes straight through all his durability and one didn't. Did Superman punch his soul or something?

Is that a power now? He aimed straight for his intelligence (soul)? Superman gained the power of Hulk's ability to hit intangible forces?
